چکیده
Abstract Background In the last decade, graphene oxide-based nanomaterials, such as oxide (GO) and reduced (rGO), have attracted more attention in field of biomedicine. Due to versatile surface functionalization, ultra-high area, excellent biocompatibility which hold better promise for potential applications than among other nanomaterials biomedical fields including drug/gene delivery, biomolecules detection, tissue engineering, especially cancer treatment. Results Here, we review recent progress multifunctional A comprehensive in-depth depiction unique property is first interpreted, with particular descriptions about suitability applying therapy. Afterward, recently emerging representative antitumor therapy, an ideal carrier drugs/genes, phototherapy, bioimaging, are systematically summarized. Then, biosafety reviewed. Conclusions Finally, conclusions perspectives on further advancing toward development fundamental researches nanomedicine proposed. Graphic abstract

Recent Progress in Multifunctional Graphene Aerogels
Two dimensional (2D) graphene has become one of the most intensively explored carbon allotropes in materials science owing to attractive features like its outstanding physicochemical properties. In order to further practical applications, the fabrication of self-assembled 2D individual graphene sheets into 3D graphene aerogels (GAs) with special structures and novel functions is now becoming es...
متن کاملMultifunctional nanoparticles: recent progress in cancer therapeutics.
Although much progress has been made in treating cancers, cancer death rates in and around the United States are still high. Current treatments are either ineffective against some cancers or detrimental to patients, which decreases their quality of life. The use of nanotechnology in cancer therapy can potentially increase patient survival, reduce side effects, and reduce mortality rates because...
متن کاملRecent progress in boron nanomaterials
Various types of zero, one, and two-dimensional boron nanomaterials such as nanoclusters, nanowires, nanotubes, nanobelts, nanoribbons, nanosheets, and monolayer crystalline sheets named borophene have been experimentally synthesized and identified in the last 20 years. Owing to their low dimensionality, boron nanomaterials have different bonding configurations from those of three-dimensional b...
متن کاملA composite structure based on reduced graphene oxide and metal oxide nanomaterials for chemical sensors
A hybrid nanostructure based on reduced graphene oxide and ZnO has been obtained for the detection of volatile organic compounds. The sensing properties of the hybrid structure have been studied for different concentrations of ethanol and acetone. The response of the hybrid material is significantly higher compared to pristine ZnO nanostructures. The obtained results have shown that the nanohyb...
